This article demonstrates the full range of content block types available in a news article: text, image, video, and buttons — all combined in a single article.

A news article can combine multiple types of content in the Content blocks field below the body. This full-featured example uses all supported paragraph types: a content block for additional text, an image block for a standalone image with caption, a video block for an embedded video, and a button group for call-to-action links.

The order of blocks is fully configurable in the Drupal editor by dragging items in the content blocks paragraph field. Blocks render in the order they appear in the field.

Content block

This is a content block paragraph in the content area. Content blocks support full rich text: headings, bold, italic, links, lists, and tables. They are the most flexible block type and can be mixed freely with other block types.

Below this text is a video block embedding a YouTube video via oEmbed. The video renders as a responsive embed and includes an optional caption.
