Row block

The row block places 2–4 columns side by side in a single row. Each column is an independent paragraph — you can mix different paragraph types within the same row. Supported column types: content block, image block, video block, downloads block, and card block.

Fields

  • Column blocks — 2–4 nested paragraphs, one per column, each can be a different type
  • Columns per row — number of columns (2, 3, or 4)
  • Column alignment — horizontal alignment (left, centre, right)
  • Block height — row height (normal or full viewport)
  • Block padding — outer spacing
  • Media — optional background image or video for the entire row
  • Theme colours — background/text overrides

Content block column

This column is a content block — rich text with optional media and buttons. It is the most flexible column type and works in any row.

Use a content block column for editorial text, introductions, or any freeform content that does not fit a more specialised type.

Second column. You can mix paragraph types — use an image block or card block here instead of a content block.

Cards work particularly well in rows when you want each column to be a self-contained feature item with a consistent visual structure. Combine with an image for more visual impact.

Content block + video — 2-column row

This two-column row pairs a content block (text + buttons) with a video block (embedded YouTube video). Mixing a text column with a media column is a common pattern for feature or highlight sections.

The video block column uses a remote video media entity — the same YouTube oEmbed URL that appears on the video block demo page.

Example 2 — Card in row (2 of 2)

The second card in the two-column row. Both cards have the same image attached. In a real project you would use different images and content for each card to present distinct items.

Content block

A text column. Use for descriptions, labels, or any freeform content.

Example 3 — Column 2 of 4

Four columns are useful for icon grids, stat blocks, or compact feature lists that benefit from a tight four-up layout.

A card column with title and body text. Add an image to make it more visual.

Set Columns per row to 4 on the row block wrapper to activate the four-column layout.
